Avast tried to delete them but is not successful. Avast detected these files as being caused by the Win32/Agent-SB, Win32/Agent-OFB, and Win32/VB-GLE trojans. It gives the message that RPC services were unable to start.Ģ) Windows Firewall is also unable to be started. However, after the computer reboots, the virus scan is deactivated.

Here are a couple of my problems:ġ) I am able to install Avast antivirus. However, the computer still seems to have some kind of startup trojan that is unable to be cleaned/removed by these programs.

I ran AVG, Avast, Spybot, and Super Antispyware which all continued to find and clean off various virus, trojans, etc. So, I figured he had a bunch of viruses, malware, trojans, etc. He said it became extremely slow, tried to load programs that he knew nothing about, etc. I have been working on a friend's computer.
